When should I buy travel insurance?
Travel Insurance protects you if for unforeseen events – for instance, you have to cancel your trip due to your sickness or injury, the death of a family member or if a natural disaster happens at your destination to name a few. Some plans offer coverage for pre-existing conditions when purchased within a specific number of days your initial trip deposit date. This Insurance must be purchased at least one day prior to your departure date. This coverage cannot be purchased on the day of departure.

Many of our Safe Travels insurance policies include primary medical coverage and trip delay. Upon purchase, you will receive a visa letter as well as a certificate for you to upload to receive your travel authorization.
The Safe Travels Voyager plan offers an optional Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) benefit that provides reimbursement for 75% of the prepaid, non-refundable, forfeited payments you paid for your trip if you cancel your trip for any reason not otherwise covered by this policy. CFAR must be purchased with the initial policy and within 21 days of the initial trip deposit date, and the full, nonrefundable trip cost is insured. CFAR is not available in all states.
