Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel insurance benefit is available on the Trawick International's Safe Travels AnyReason, Safe Travels Armor, Safe Travels Voyager, Safe Travels Rental Plus and Safe Travels Journey. CFAR provides partial reimbursement of the insured prepaid, non-refundable trip costs when you cancel your trip for a reason not listed on the plan. This benefit is only available to U.S. Citizens and U.S. Residents who reside in the US.

To get this option, you must quote one of the below plans and add the Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) benefit within the specified time frame from the initial deposit date or final payment date as listed on the plan. To see if you are eligible to purchase CFAR on one of these plans, the day after you first made a reservation or deposit for your trip is received considered day one. To qualify for the CFAR benefit, you may also need to insure your entire non-refundable trip cost.

To use the CFAR benefit when canceling your trip, you must cancel your trip in its entirety, at least 2 days prior to your scheduled departure date. Please review each of the specific plans below for a list of available benefits, time sensitive periods for purchase and additional limitations/exclusions that may apply.

Please note that we do not have any plans that offer a CFAR benefit in NY.  CFAR is not available for travel to Israel.

Safe Travels AnyReason

Safe Travels AnyReason is a trip cancellation plan with Cancel for Any Reason Coverage included when it is purchased within 7 days of your trip deposit date. This plan includes up to $10,000 of trip cancellation. $7,500 of Cancel For Any Reason coverage and covers trip interruption, trip delay, primary baggage loss/delay, primary emergency medical, emergency evacuation/repatriation and offers an optional additional medical upgrade.

Safe Travels Armor

Safe Travels Armor is a trip cancellation plan insured by Starr Indemnity & Liability Company for US Citizens/US Residents while traveling to destinations in the USA or abroad. This plan includes up to $100,000 of trip cancellation and offers Optional Cancel for Any Reason up to $15,000. It also covers trip interruption, trip delay, primary baggage loss/delay, primary emergency medical, emergency evacuation/repatriation and more!

The plan covers pre-existing medical conditions provided when coverage is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit, prior to the Final Payment and the full, nonrefundable trip cost is insured. Includes $2,000 for potential accommodations/lodging expenses due to trip delay.

The Safe Travels Voyager is designed for those who are looking for the highest available benefit limits to protect your trip. This plan covers trips up to $100,000 for trip cancellation and includes a $250,000 per person limit primary medical coverage with coverage for pre-existing medical conditions when purchased within 21 days of initial deposit and within twenty-one (21) days of payment for any subsequent Travel Arrangements added to Your Tript and the full, nonrefundable trip cost is insured.

Safe Travels Rental Plus

Safe Travels Rental Plus vacation rental insurance is part of a travel protection plan that covers trip cancellation up to $10,000 for non-refundable travel arrangement payments such as vacation rentals, hotels, airfare and additional pre-paid amounts for your trip. This plan offers **Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) coverage. This vacation rental plan is available for trips up to 18 months prior to your trip departure date and up to 30 days in length. This vacation rental insurance is only available to U.S. Citizens and U.S. Residents.
