I had to chat with customer service several times. When I chatted during the middle of the day, the wait times were quite long.
As far as whether I would recommend Trawick or use it again, it will depend on my experience with this policy. I think it is inappropriate to ask the question at this time, so I said "no".
Last trip I went to hospital in Cabo for kidney infection and follow up appts. Once home I filed claim, it took a while to process, 3-4 months, but Trawick/Nationwide paid back every peso of the $2000 I paid out of pocket. Great! Just save EVERY invoice and receipt.

Hopefully I will never be in a position to review the seamlessness of the claim procedure but after fairly extensively searching the internet I can state that the company appears to be legit and the reviews throughout several websites are generally positive. Purchasing the policy was straightforward and apparently secure.
Purchased my last four travel destinations
customer service was excellent and timely in correcting a couple of mistakes I made on my application. The issue was corrected, and they e-mailed me a corrected copy of my policy. I also spoke with a very helpful and Polite customer service representative named Kathy and she verified for me that the issues had been corrected on the same day last week when I sent an e mail about the issue I had. I have obtained coverage from Trawick before and found that their price and coverage for cruise insurance is excellent.

When I purchased a policy for my Mexico trip in Jan 2023 on 9-25-22 the Trawick agent I talked to said the policy price would not change if I waited to purchase, and it did ($20 higher). Bad information given.

I accidently bought a policy for 5 of us going on a cruise together. I realized after the cancellation date that I might not have done the policy correctly as 2 of my sisters live in different states. I called and they were kind enough to cancel it and create the 3 policies i needed for me to re-purchase. Much appreciated!

The policy looked good both times. Last time I purchased the policy through Squaremouth, this time I went straight to you. This was a better experience but the other allowed me to compare many different plans. Customer service (chat) was great! My biggest complaint has been in settling claims. We had to cancel our trip last time because my wife got covid three days into the trip. We still have not not heard anything back about the claim. That has been three months. That was my one hesitation purchasing another policy from you.
